Edoardo Savino

They called him «il Nano del Gas»

Born in 2011 and raised in Cesano Maderno, in the Brianza area north of Milan, Edo got on a minibike at six and has never got off since. Italian and European titles in minibike and MiniGP, selection for the Pata Talenti Azzurri FMI programme in 2021, a MiniGP world podium in Valencia and, in 2026, the Moto4 Italian Championship title, clinched at the final race of the season.

A second-year high school student at Essence Academy in Monza, he balances school with a calendar that takes him to a different circuit every other weekend, in Italy and across Europe. His athletic training is led by Luca Zago of Studio Zago. By his side, as always, is his dad Daniele.

The story

From minibikes to the Italian title

The beginning

It all started in 2017 with minibikes: two inter-regional Junior A titles, the Andalusian Ohvale 110 championship in 2018 and, in 2019, his first Italian Junior A title together with the Marco Simoncelli Trophy and second place in Europe. In 2020 came the double: Italian and European Junior B champion.

Talenti Azzurri

In 2021 the Italian Motorcycling Federation selected him for the Pata Talenti Azzurri programme, where he was the youngest in the group. His MiniGP season was hampered by an injury in the first race, while he was leading, but in September he made his Moto4 debut in the Spanish regional series in Valencia: a win first time out.

Ohvale and MiniGP

In 2022 he won the CIV Junior Ohvale GP-2 190 title. In 2023 he took the European MiniGP 190 crown and reached the podium at the FIM MiniGP World Final in Valencia, third in the world. Motosprint honoured him with the Casco d'Oro.

Towards the world stage

2024 marked his debut in CIV PreMoto3 with Team Leopard Academy by Roc'n'DeA: wins, podiums and third overall. In 2025 he took on the European Talent Cup in JuniorGP with MIR Racing, on tracks and against rivals of a whole new level.

2026, the title

A double programme: CIV Moto4 with Buccimoto Factory and the Moto4 European Cup with the Leopard Junior Team. In Italy he came back from 32 points down to win the title with a double victory at the final round at Vallelunga; in Europe he finished fifth overall with five podiums and two fastest laps.

The next step

Target 2027: Moto3 Junior World Championship

The 2027 programme targets the Moto3 Junior World Championship, part of the FIM MotoJunior World Championship, on a Honda and, alongside the international commitments, the Italian Championship on the Honda CBR 600 RR. Getting there takes partners who want to grow with him: every collaboration is built together, around the company's goals.
